If you’re reading this, you’re likely considering the idea of counselling, and what it may involve. This is something we can explore together if you would find it helpful.
I offer a safe and confidential space where you can explore what you might be finding difficult. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and therefore adhere to the Ethical Framework.
My training lies in psychodynamic counselling, which considers how your past experiences and relationships, particularly those from childhood, might influence your current behaviour, situations, and how you respond to them. I qualified seventeen years ago and offer counselling in my private practice as well as working for a charity, providing accessible and affordable counselling to the community.
My Experience
Areas of counselling I have worked with:
- Anxiety
- Depression

Whatever you are considering exploring in counselling, the initial session will give you an opportunity to help you decide whether counselling is something you would like to consider and raise any questions you might have.
How I work
Understanding that each person’s counselling process is unique and exploring difficult issues may take time, I offer both open-ended and short-term counselling. This flexible approach allows you to explore and reflect at your own pace. I work with 16-18 year olds as well as adults.
The counselling sessions I offer are weekly, at the same time, on the same day.
